Game Music

Post by nishant » 2010-02-15 15:07

So i checked the game design documents and those videos, which are great by the way.

I am thinking about the game music type.I think something hybrid-a blend of synths with orchestral elements would fit the game just perfectly, say, half life + orchestral music.
What do you think?

Hello Nishant,

After listening to your samples, I was also thinking a orchestral hybrid would suite it well.

Also keep in mind that the gameplay has a fairly fast tempo, players can move quite quickly.

I can think of two or three pieces of music we could use:
* Menu music for the main menu, continues until the player is in game.
* End of map music to play at the end of the game while players are looking at scores.
* End of map music could be two songs, and vary depending on which team wins.

I can't wait to hear what you come up with, keep us updated :D
You may also want to post a link to your demo page in this thread for everyone else to hear.
